Welcome To September's Newsletter
Hi!
Thanks for reading this month’s Newsletter.
Well, those in Jamaica and even those far away would know that in recent times, there has been an upsurge in violence in our little Nation. There was a time when violence was restricted to certain areas of town, but nowadays, all are at risk, regardless of where you live. Just this morning, a burglar broke into an elderly lady’s house off Constant Spring Road in Kingston. Last week, one of our staff members awoke to the sound of the gun shots that had just killed his aunt and a neighbour. Loved ones in Mountain View can not be reached by phone today because the phone lines have been shot following 6 murders this morning.
The accusation has been made that the church is not doing enough about the current situation in Jamaica. Until this can be dealt with, what can you and I do? We can search our hearts before Almighty God and cry out for His mercy. Please continue to pray with us. God bless you!
